Rome, October 1st, 2026 – Enel S.p.A. ("Enel"), through its wholly-owned subsidiary Enel Green Power North America[1], has finalized the acquisition from a U.S. utility of a portfolio of seven operational photovoltaic plants, located in the United States, with a total installed capacity of approximately 270 MW[2] and an average annual production of approximately 0.4 TWh. The acquisition consideration, equivalent to enterprise value and financed by cash flows from current operations, is approximately USD 140 million1, with an impact on the Group's net financial debt of approximately USD 180 million.[3]

The photovoltaic plants are located in Virginia, which hosts two for a total of over 120 MW4; North Carolina, which hosts one of over 90 MW4 and South Carolina, which hosts four for a total of about 50 MW4.

The acquisition is expected to have a positive effect on the Enel Group's consolidated ordinary EBITDA of approximately 20 million US dollars2 per year.
