Michele Di Murro

Chief Financial Officer, Enel North America


Michele Di Murro is the Head of Administration, Finance and Control and Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of Enel North America.

With a Bachelor's degree in Business Management and a Master's in Corporate Finance from Rome's Luiss Guido Carli University, Michele began his professional journey at the Boston Consulting Group, following stints at JP Morgan and The Monitor Group.

Joining the Enel Group in 2010, he initially served in strategic planning and M&A, overseeing the restructuring of Endesa Group subsidiaries in Spain and Latin America. In 2015, he assumed the role of Head of Financial Planning and Control, where he led several initiatives that significantly improved the Group's net income and cash flow between 2015 and 2017.

After a brief tenure as Head of Global Planning and Control for the newly formed Enel X business line, Michele relocated to Colombia in 2018 to serve as CFO of the Enel Group's Colombian subsidiaries. There, he successfully restructured Enel's operations in the region, leading to the creation of the "Enel Colombia and Central America" Group.

Prior to assuming his current role in North America, Michele also served as CFO of the newly established Global Business Line dedicated to E-Mobility, from 2021 to 2023.
