Self-hoisting crane technology
Wind turbine maintenance is getting an upgrade with self-hoisting crane technology at our Prairie Rose wind farm in Minnesota. Enel Green Power is using a smaller crane that is able to lift up to 78 tons at high wind speeds for major component replacement in wind turbines. We're optimizing our performance to produce more sustainable energy.
