Miguel Li Puma is Head of People & Organization at Enel North America where he is responsible for the human resources (HR) function, developing HR talent capabilities, supporting and redesigning practices for a fast-growing business. He oversees the HR function for 1500 employees in the US and Canada and manages a team of 45.

Mr. Li Puma brings a track record of 20+ years of strategic global human resources leadership in driving transformational projects and programs to ensure improved business results in multiple regions throughout Europe, US and Latin America. He successfully transformed the HR strategy for the Plasma Collection Unit at Grifols North America with 11,000 employees in 300 Donor Centers, leading to a significant turnover reduction, budget overachievement and business growth. Moreover, Mr. Li Puma created HR competitive differentiators for manufacturing and commercial Units facing incredible talent competition. 

Previously, Mr. Li Puma was Vice President of Human Resources in Latin America for Boehringer Ingelheim, a German pharma and biotech with over 50,000 employees globally, 17.5 billion dollars in revenue, multiple manufacturing and R&D sites around the globe. He held other leadership roles in HR at Pfizer, Monsanto and Ford Motor Company.

Mr. Li Puma received his MBA from Universidad del CEMA, Argentina and a Law Degree from Universidad de Buenos Aires. He was an advisory board member at Cielo, the largest recruiting outsource firm in the US. He is fluent in French, English and Spanish. 

Mr. Li Puma’s passion is to design HR solutions based on a robust understanding of external and internal customers, the business strategy, its challenges and opportunities. Knowledgeable of various cultures, his leadership style can adjust to successfully lead people and strategy execution.
