Nicole Mikkelson is Head of Services and Security, USA & Canada. As an Officer of Enel North America, she oversees Asset and People Security along with Services delivery for USA & Canada. Additionally, she is responsible for relevant cross-functional projects for the same area.

Mrs. Mikkelson is a veteran that began her career as a Naval Officer with the US Navy, where she led a variety of skilled teams during her service and served as a nuclear power-trained surface warfare officer onboard the USS Nimitz and USS Paul Hamilton.  She also served on shore duty as a Radiation Safety Officer supporting testing, remote lab environments, and the marine mammal program.  Notably, she was awarded the Naval Achievement Medal for Leadership.

In 2020, she joined Enel Green Power as Lead Wind Project Engineer and went on to hold various key leadership roles in Engineering & Construction where she led a team of Project Engineers on the development, investment approval, and construction of utility-scale wind, solar, and battery storage renewable energy projects.

During her studies, Mrs. Mikkelson performed research as an Energy Research Analyst for the Institute for Sustainable Energy at Boston University.

She holds a Social Impact MBA from Boston University and a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Engineering from the University of Southern California.
