Michela De Gennaro is Head of Communications, USA & Canada, at Enel North America, where she is responsible for internal and external communications across all Enel’s business lines in the Region.   

Ms. De Gennaro joined Enel in 2010 and worked in progressive roles within the company, including Regulatory and Institutional Affairs and Communications. She serves as the Head of Communications for the US & Canada since 2018, overseeing all communications activities for the company in the region, including media and public relations, digital communications, branding, advertising and events, as well as internal communications and crisis communications.

Ms. De Gennaro is a founding member since 2020 of the Boston Chapter of Chief, the only network of senior women executives designed to empower and connect C-Suite women. She's also a strong advocate of women in leadership and women in energy.

Ms. De Gennaro received her bachelor’s degree in Political Science and International Relations from the LUISS Guido Carli University of Rome (IT) and her master’s degree in Contemporary European Studies jointly from the University of Bath (UK), Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin (DE), and the Freie Universität Berlin (DE).
