Jack Thirolf

Jack Thirolf is Head of Public Policy and Institutional Affairs, USA & Canada, at Enel North America, where he is responsible for policy analysis and advocacy across each of Enel’s business lines.

Mr. Thirolf joined Enel Green Power North America’s Regulatory Affairs department in 2012. He was promoted to Director in 2014 and led the Regulatory Affairs department until 2019 when he was promoted to his current role.

Prior to joining Enel, Mr. Thirolf worked on U.S. federal and international energy and climate policy for the Business Council for Sustainable Energy, a Washington, D.C.-based trade association representing the U.S. energy efficiency, renewable energy, and natural gas industries. Prior to that, he worked as a community college teacher in Rạch Giá, Vietnam.

Mr. Thirolf received his bachelor’s degree with honors in Comparative Literature and a certificate in Judaic Studies from Princeton University. He earned a law degree with honors from the Georgetown University Law Center.
