Greg Geller
Head of Regulatory Affairs, USA & Canada, Enel North America
As Head of Regulatory Affairs, Mr. Geller leads the team responsible for removing regulatory barriers to clean energy and electric mobility and for providing regulatory insights to internal business units that inform Enel’s North American investment strategy.
Mr. Geller joined EnerNOC’s Regulatory Affairs team in 2010, where he led several regulatory wins to accelerate the adoption of Distributed Energy Resources. Most notably, he played a lead role in EnerNOC;s successful effort at the US Supreme Court to secure the role of Distributed Energy Resources in wholesale markets. These successes at EnerNOC and Enel (post-EnerNOC acquisition) led to Mr. Geller assuming increased levels of management responsibilities, culminating in his role as Head of Regulatory Affairs for USA & Canada. He considers himself extremely fortunate to lead a team comprised of dedicated, effective, and high-character individuals.
Previously, Mr. Geller served as Campaign Manager, Legislative Director, and Deputy Chief of Staff for a New York City Councilwoman.
Mr. Geller earned his BA from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and his MBA from Boston University.
He lives with his wife and two sons in the Boston area and serves on the Board of NY-BEST and the Advanced Energy Management Alliance.
